As the year draws to a close, the festive season offers a valuable moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate achievements. At The Excelsis School of Music, we are proud of the progress our students have made throughout the year and grateful for the continued support of our families and community. As part of our seasonal schedule, we would like to share an important update regarding our Christmas holiday closure and New Year reopening.

The Excelsis School of Music will remain open until 5:00pm on Saturday, 20 December 2025. Following this, the school will close for the Christmas holidays, allowing students, parents, and teachers time to enjoy the festive period. We will reopen on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, ready to begin an exciting new term filled with learning, creativity, and musical growth.

This short seasonal break is an important part of our academic calendar. It gives students the opportunity to rest, practise independently, and return refreshed, while our teaching team prepares new lesson plans, group activities, and performance opportunities for the year ahead. Whether students are enrolled in piano, violin, guitar, voice, or group music classes, January marks a wonderful time to refocus and set new musical goals.

At The Excelsis School of Music, we believe music education is about far more than weekly lessons. Our holistic approach nurtures confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation of music. Throughout the year, students benefit from both individual and group learning, performance opportunities, and a supportive environment where every learner is encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Parents are kindly encouraged to plan lessons and enquiries around the holiday closure dates. Any questions regarding schedules, enrolments, or new term programmes can be addressed once the school reopens in January. New students are also welcome to explore our wide range of music programmes at the start of the New Year, making it the perfect time to begin a musical journey.

As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to delivering high-quality music education that inspires success and builds confidence in learners of all ages. We are excited to continue supporting our students as they develop not only musical skills, but also resilience, self-expression, and a strong sense of achievement.
