Made from natural ingredients like mature pit lime and mineral pigments, this paint offers a stylish, matte finish that enhances any space with its subtle charm and depth. Our limewash paint is crafted from the highest quality mature pit lime that has been aged for three years, ensuring its purity and consistency. To tint the limewash paint we use natural earth mineral pigments. The result is a radiant, luminescent hand-crafted finish that cannot be duplicated by any acrylic or latex paint. This paint is specially made so the lime can “bloom.” This creates the recognizable soft, textured look reminiscent of matte velvety suede. View Product Data Sheet ** Please note, Lime Slurry is to be added into JH Lime Wall Paint. This is not a standalone finish. Lime Slurry is a mineral additive to be added into Lime Wall Paint to achieve desired textures. JH Lime Slurry is a mineral filling aggregate for JH Lime Wall Paint when a thicker consistency is desired for application by roller, trowel or brush. Lime Slurry contains compatible silicates of different grain shape and size in a well-balanced composition. It is added to Lime Wall Paint to thicken the mixture. This mixture may be used to adjust or minimize differences in texture of the substrate or to create various decorative texture effects. Lime Slurry may be used for interior or exterior projects. A good starting point is 2 parts lime wash with 1 part slurry. You can always add in more slurry. If you have added too much slurry you can always add more lime wash and/or water to get your preferred consistency.
